About me: Hi! My name is Collin. I like to go by Collie Green or CG3P0 on stage. I'm currently 33 and a native of Dutchess County New York. I grew up in an African household. From as far as I can remember, my parents would always play traditiona music from their home country. I've been singing since my teen years, but I've honestly only sung live on stage and handful of times. I have a baritone vocal range, and I'm very good at harmonizing with instrumentals and other vocalist. I'm pretty open to all genres of music. I definitely love to listen to the instrumentals more rather the lyrics. I played trumpet in elementary school then adopted the ephonium as my fav instrument when I got to middle school, and continued playing into high-school. I dont currently own an ephonium so it's been I a while since I've played. The past couple years I've been producing beats on Ableton, and singing in the car, shower, or at karaoke nights. Cmon, theres gotta be some people out there that get what I am saying... I have a list of tunes that are popular but not beaten to death... These tunes made MTV back in the day...Were and still played on Radio whatever is left of it... Or, if they were not the number one hit from whatever band, they still charted. Songs on my list will have people losing their minds because they havent heard them in years... I guess the term is deeper cuts... But not totally obscure mind you...Would like to do more of a show then just playing songs one after another... The image and vibe that I am going for is say... Jason and The Scorchers meets Rockpile meets Dave Edmunds meets The Band.... Would love 2 guitars, keys, Bass (hopefully with an Ampeg) and Lead vocalist that either play an instrument which would be a plus.
Would love to have an agent in the future and figure out a way to market this correctly and book great shows... Can do bars at first to cut our teeth. What ya say? Im not getting any younger... This has been a major bucket list thing Ive had for years...
