About me: Looking for musicians to make music that’s a little experimental. My partner and I have a couple of projects with a lot of material recorded and ready to go. We’re keen to start gigging here fairly soon. We’re looking for musicians who have a professional level of proficiency. We’re both Berklee NYC graduates, recently moved to Melbourne from NYC. We’ve performed extensively in Europe and the US. Have a lot of experience with production and mixing (at various studios including the Power Station and bunker studios) and we’re setting up a small studio here :)

Australian TOOL Tribute: THIRD EYE are seeking a new Bassist. 
 
About the Band: 
 
Third Eye have been Australia’s premier Tool Tribute show for over 10 years. Welcomed back by fans and venues alike, we have the privilege of performing to great crowds, in some of Australia’s premier live music venues; including 170 Russell, The Corner Hotel, Max Watts, Northcote Theatre, Crowbar (Brisbane/Sydney), Lion Arts Centre (Adelaide), The Factory Theatre (Sydney), Brightside (Brisbane), Altar Bar (Hobart), Rosemount Hotel (Perth). 
 
We strive to deliver a Tool ‘experience’, meaning we re-create lighting, laser, and visual accompaniments (as well as stage props/additional guest performers). We have refined our sound over the last decade, and our setup/sound essentially mimics that of TooL. 
 
What we are looking for: 
 
We are seeking a professional, committed, talented Bassist who is dedicated to emulating Justin Chancellor, someone who is passionate about TooL, and understands the sanctity of bringing their music to the fans. Not just looking for someone who can play TOOL songs, we need someone that can truly channel Justin. 
 
The ideal candidate: 
 
Is capable of learning/performing the full TOOL catalogue. 
Has (or is willing to invest in) the relevant gear to capture Justin’s tone. 
Respects what it means to perform TOOL (fan expectations). 
Is willing to commit to 5-10 shows a year (inc. interstate travel). 
Is aged 25 – 45. 
Is humble and has a good sense of humor (about themselves). 
Is organised/willing to contribute to growing the band/show. 
*BONUS POINTS* - has relevant synthesizers 
 
How to Apply: 
 
Our initial screening phase will involve Video submissions from candidates. In-person auditions will be held for shortlisted submissions.

I have a diploma in audio engineering and enjoy editing/mixing whatever I come up with, and would like to have a go at your projects too if you're interested.

I have a few demo's and drafts up in which I've been constantly improving over the past 2 years, however I've always wanted to actually be in a band so my progressions can have outsider influence.

Not concerned about age range, while I mainly enjoy alternative rock and punk, I have a respect for all genres, and would be eager to learn from someone with more experience than myself.

About me: Hello my name is steven bremner , i am a canadian singer/songwriter, guitarist and vocalist based in hong kong . I have been a professional dancer for over 20 years and spent my life on stage. I have perform in Hong Kong and in Canada over the years and would really like to perform in Melbourne with other dedicated and enthusiastic musicians ! i’m not looking for perfection, I’m looking for focused and enthusiastic musicians just wanna share great music on stage and connect with the audience. I’m in my 50s but very fit and full of energy and good humour! I lead a pretty clean lifestyle, i am very dedicated and focused on my craft . My music style sits somewhere between 70s classic rock style/progressive all the way to acoustic singer/songwriter. All songs are original music written and played by myself. I come to Melbourne often and spend time here. I love the music scene here in melbourne and think you guys and gals have one of the greatest music scenes in the world ! I’m looking for other like-minded musicians who would be interested in forming a band to bring to the stage my original music. I know it’s a bit of a stretch me living in Hong Kong at the moment, but I am here for another month till nov 1st and would really like to meet up with some like-minded musicians and players whilst i’m here and see what can be possible.
