About me: Hi everyone! I’m an intermediate piano player looking to connect with other intermediate musicians to form a fun, part-time jazz/blues/R&B band.

The goal?

- Play for the joy of it
- Build a solid repertoire
- Prepare a few tunes for open mic nights
- Grow together as musicians

This is not about going pro or finding advanced players. I’m looking for fellow hobbyists who are passionate, committed, and skilled enough to confidently carry their part in a song.

I’m not a professional musician, but I’m very dedicated. I prepare thoroughly before rehearsals so I can feel comfortable and contribute fully, and I’d love to work with people who take a similar approach. The idea would be to agree on a setlist in advance so everyone has time to prepare and we can make rehearsals productive and enjoyable.

Most importantly: good vibes only. Let’s create something fun, supportive, and musically rewarding. And if it grows into something bigger down the road, even better!

If this sounds like your kind of project, get in touch. I have selected drummer, bass and lead voice but open to other instruments as well - for example, a saxophone would be great for jazz performances.

About me: Hey! I'm James. I've just moved to London and am keen to meet people to play music with, whether it's having some fun jamming or starting a band and doing some recording/ eventually gigging.

I play guitar and keys (grade 8 piano and self taught guitar) as well as producing, and slowly getting into vocals. My main genres are indie, shoegaze/soft rock, right now into snail mail, japanese breakfast and She's Green.
